Mechanical Design & In-House Fabrication
Judges evaluate the mechanical robustness and level of custom manufacturing used rather than off-the-shelf parts.
Tier 1 – High Importance
Exceptional custom fabrication of main Chassis Frame, Suspension Arms, or Steering Rack
Tier 2 – Medium Importance
Good custom fabrication of auxiliary parts: Battery Boxes, Sensor Mounts, or Brake Brackets
Tier 3 – Low Importance
Basic fabrication: Body Panels, Dashboards, or Cosmetic parts
Autonomous Architecture & AI Features
Teams must demonstrate vehicle intelligence through theoretical explanation and code review.
Full Score
Comprehensive AI/Computer Vision integration, clear sensor fusion strategy and path-planning algorithms
Partial
Basic autonomous logic: standard PID control, single-sensor reliance
None
No clear autonomous architecture or inability to explain the code

Engineering Excellence & Safety
Evaluates professional finish and electrical safety of the prototype:
- Cleanest cable routing
- Professional sensor mounting
- Excellent heat management
- Integrated mandatory safety systems
Digital Twin & Simulation
Dynamic track testing is not permitted — use virtual environment.
Accepted Platforms:
Documentation Requirements
